Anna Lutkajtis is a researcher from Australia. She has a long standing interest in psychology and religion studies and has published in the areas of mysticism, meditation, psilocybin, entheogenic new religious movements, and the healing potential of altered states of consciousness.
She holds a B. Psychology (Hons) degree from The University of New South Wales, a Master of Art Administration degree from UNSW Art & Design, and a Master of Arts (Research: Religion Studies) degree from The University of Sydney.
Her Masters thesis examined the adverse effects of meditation and was published as a book, "The Dark Side of Dharma." Her studies at the University of Sydney also included research into the phenomenology of the psilocybin experience.
She is currently retired from academia, and is working as an independent researcher, focusing on transformative experiences with anomalous light phenomena. She is particularly interested in peoples' experiences with orbs.
